Johnny: Buffy was - a little weird, and we just kinda went with that.
Bailey: Jennifer, have you ever looked at yourself and suddenly realized that you could be a better person, more in control?
Jennifer: No.
Johnny: Jennifer, what would you do if some guy asked you for a small loan?
Jennifer: Well, first I'd laugh in his face with a sort of slight sneer. (demonstrates) Then I'd just fix him with a stony stare. (Demonstrates the stony stare) Then I'd give him a little smile that lets him know that life is over as he knows it. (Smiles)
Johnny: Is there anything I can ever do to repay you for this?
Jennifer: No.
Buffy: Now I can sense, I mean can really sense, like you know, that you have become more prosperous, and (looking around Jennifer's apartment) I think slightly effeminate.
Buffy: I have needs...
Johnny: Great!
Buffy: And I have certain rights...
Johnny: Sure.
Buffy: And I want you to know that there's nothing personal in any lawsuit.
Johnny, mouthing the word: Lawsuit??
Mr Carlson: What is she doing here at this hour?
Andy: She's "waiting."
Mr Carlson: Oh. That's fine, thanks a lot Bailey, you can go home now.
Bailey: Mr Carlson, I'm waiting for Johnny.
Mr Carlson: Oh, he's coming here?
Bailey: No.
Mr Carlson: Fine.
Bailey: I'm waiting for Johnny.
Venus: Is he coming over here?
Bailey: No.
Venus: Okay.
Bailey: Do you like Bogart?
Venus: Humphrey? Oh yeah.
Bailey, very depressed: He's dead now.
Johnny: I'm being sued by a person named Buffy.
Venus: Sounds serious.
Andy: Yeah, maybe we should send out for pizza.
Buffy: Johnny... (slumping over) I'm in turmoil!!
Johnny: Big news.
Andy: Gang, let's all go into the kitchen and leave these two alone, They've got some personal things to talk over. We can watch 'em through the window here.
Buffy: This is all Chad's fault.
Andy aside to Johnny: This is boring, we don't know any Chad.
Buffy: Nobody can do anything anymore.
Johnny: What is that supposed to mean?
Buffy: I put some poison in the brandy.
Johnny, after a long pause: Which glass?
Buffy: I dunno. One of them.
Johnny: I don't feel very good.
Johnny: So you put poison in the brandy. That's very medieval of you.
Johnny: I'd really like to take you to a nice place.
Bailey: Okay!
Johnny: Okay, great! Trouble is, I don't know any, see.
